The family of Laken Riley was invited to the White House by President Donald Trump.
The Laken Riley Act, which requires the detention and deportation of illegal alien criminals, was signed into law by President Trump.

If immigration rules aren’t followed, the measure also gives states the right to sue.
Allyson Phillip, the mother of Laken Riley, thanked President Trump for keeping his pledge to ensure the safety of the American people.
“Our family will forever be grateful for the prayers of people across our nation and for helping to pass this legislation,” she added.
She then thanked President Trump.
“He (Trump) said he would secure our borders and that he would never forget Laken,” she said before tearfully adding, “And he hasn’t… We trust that he will fight for the American people.”
Phillips then gave an emotional thank you to Jesus, saying, “Without his sacrifices, Laken’s story would have ended on that horrific day she was taken from us. Because of him, we can continue living knowing that we will see Laken again.”
“I thank President Trump for the promises he made to us. He said he would secure our borders and that he would never forget about Laken. And he hasn’t. He’s a man of his word.” she said.
