Rashad, CEO of GHPage and a well-liked media personality has given a brutal warning to the Ghanaian teachers that exploit female students claiming low salary as an excuse to misbehave.
His response follows a shocking accusation against a school CEO and TV judge called Uncle Benedict.
Another young girl student claimed that Uncle Benedict was kissing and touching her at random against her will, and this was recorded on camera by herself hence the case is now going viral. The girl stated that the assault happened several times in his personal office.
Raising a finger in the air with a cry of anger and exasperation, Rashad referred to the social media, saying that he was outraged and upset by the growing number of the reports where educators used their students.
He criticized the move because teachers are not supposed to defraud their students in order to gain personal benefit.
“I have heard too often stories of this sort. Some of the teachers say they do so since their salaries are low. But this is what I say to you, if your wages are bad, do not make my niece or the daughter of somebody a dole of yours,” Rashad declared.

He demanded more accountability and tighter measures in schools particularly where students are concerned in issues of safety and teaching behaviors.
Rashad indicated that such activities do not only harm the lives of young girls but also bring disrepute to the teaching profession in Ghana.
The case has since caused an uproar on the internet with many demanding justice and proper investigations on the accused victim. Still others have called the educational institutions to set up better systems that should safeguard students against misuse of power.
In the meantime, Uncle Benedict has not made any public statement in response to the allegations.
Such a daring declaration by Rashad is indicative of the fact that teachers in schools are increasingly becoming the subject of misconduct, with more victims coming forth to report the abuse.
It also puts a light on the dire necessity of safeguarding policy and effective preparation of teachers in public and private educational institutions.
