Well-known Ghanaian actor John Bredu Peasah, better known as “Drogba” from the YOLO series, has courageously opened up about his ongoing battle with demyelinating disease and is asking for help paying for his medical care.
Drogba shed light on the difficulties he has encountered in his health journey by disclosing that he has been battling a demyelinating disease for the past 2.5 years in a heartfelt statement that was shared on his official Instagram page.

The appeal aims to rally support from the public to aid Drogba in his ongoing battle against the demyelinating disease.
A demyelinating disease is a medical condition that causes damage to the protective covering, known as the myelin sheath, surrounding nerve fibers in the brain, optic nerves leading to the eyes, and spinal cord.
The damage to the myelin sheath can result in slowed or halted nerve impulses, leading to neurological problems.
Known for his role as ‘Blah Charles’ in the popular YOLO series, Drogba portrays a ‘lover boy’ character who goes to great lengths to pursue the women he desires.
YOLO, a Ghanaian teenage TV series that premiered in 2016, serves as a sequel to the well-received Ghanaian TV series, “Things We Do for Love,” offering guidance to youth on navigating the challenges of adolescence.
