Fantabulous female media reporter, Portia Gabor, has set her name in stone by winning the 2021 edition of GJA Journalist of the Year Award.

At the 26th edition of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards occasion, which was held at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra, the outstanding reporter was elevated with the privilege.

The television news creation, “Beggers Paradise” featuring Portia Gabor, which was transmitted on TV3 over the course of the year whiles under analysis, was categorized as the best.

Her article named “Health for Wealth,” catapulted her to the summit of recognition, as she was additionally named the Health Journalist of the Year.

As she acknowledged her honor, she took the opportunity to extend her appreciation to Ghanaian journalists, who have shaped the mark of the field by redefining the standard of the practice on a higher level, hence, lauding her co-worker whom she worked with during her speech.

Prof. Ernest Aryeetey, a previous vice chancellor of the University of Ghana, chaired the event, thusly, the 26th GJA Awards.

Walking the Path Towards Ghana’s Economic Recovery: The Role of the Media is the theme of the 26th GJA Awards.

Numerous dignitaries went to the event, including Justice of the Supreme Court (JSC) Yonny Kulendi, and US Ambassador to Ghana, Virginia E. Palmer.
