Anna Faris Allegations Against Ivan Reitman Are Alarming
The revelation of Anna Faris’s accusations against Ivan Reitman is one of the most concerning things to emerge so far in October 2022. On the set of a movie in 2006, she claimed to have gone through a horrible encounter with him.
The most well-known of Anna’s acting roles are in the movies Scary Movie, The House Bunny, The Dictator, and The Hot Chick.

Anna Faris made some alarming allegations against Ivan Reitman.
In an episode of the “Unqualified” podcast, Anna told up about a bad encounter she had with Ivan when filming the rom-com My Super Ex-Girlfriend back in the early 2000s.
Anna said, “One of my hardest film experiences was with Ivan Reitman. I mean, the idea of attempting to make a comedy under this reign of terror … He was a yeller. He would bring down somebody every day, and my first day, it was me.”
She further describe the time that he slapped her butt, leaving her feeling “angry, hurt, and humiliated.”
According to Anna, the incident of sexual harassment took place as she was filming a scene from a ladder. She was supposed to be getting books off of a shelf when he smacked her behind. Ivan’s behavior was apparently called out by the crew, but instead of being outraged and indignant, they allegedly started giggling.
She added, “I remember looking around and I remember seeing the crew members being like, ‘Wait, what are you going to do about that? That seemed weird.’ And that’s how I dismissed it. I was like, ‘Well, this isn’t a thing. Like, it’s not that big of a deal. Buck up, Faris. Like, just giggle.’ But it made me feel small. He wouldn’t have done that to the lead male.”

Ivan passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 75. He died inside his home, which was located in Montecito, Ca.
“Our family is grieving the untimely loss of a husband, father, and grandfather who taught us to always seek the magic in life,” his family said in a statement made public by AP News following his passing.
We find solace in the fact that his films made countless people laugh and happy all around the world. We hope that people who knew him through his films will always remember him even as we mourn in private.
