Castro vanished in 2014 while sailing in the Ada Estuary with his lover, Janet Bandu, leaving Ghanaians in a state of disbelief.

Recall, that a self-styled marine goddess named Akosua Moon Goddess called Asamoah Gyan as the killer of singer Castro Underfire. According to her, Asamoah Gyan masterminded and executed the eventual killing of Castro as a plot to end his career.
In an interview monitored by Ghnewslive.com, Nana Katakyie revealed that the musician is still alive and will come back very soon.
He continued to say that the Akosua Moon goddess who was once her god daughter is just trying to get attention for herself and all that she said about Asamoah Gyan is not true.
He said in the interview that Castro will return back and will be a great man of God and will perform miracles like no other man of God in the country.
