Thomas Partey has been an incredible player for Arsenal since his arrival from Atletico Madrid, though he has been set back many times with injuries but the Ghanaian midfielder always impress the coach when he is available to play.
The Gunners midfielder felt the full force of a challenge from Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Partey had to come off in the first half and there will be a worry for Arsenal, It appeared to be his ankle causing him trouble and, despite attempting to carry on, he was forced off the pitch in the 39th minute.
Granit Xhaka was his replacement, a man who’s future could be affected by any injury to Partey. The Switzerland international had been set to join Roma this summer, but a move has stalled.
