Ashgold’s Yaw Annor wins the GPL goal king title
Yaw Annor of Ashgold was a goal behind Cameroonian striker Frank Etouga Mbella. The Ashgold winger scored two quick goals against Bibiani Goldstars in the first half of their match day 34 encounter.
These 2 goals saw him take his goal scoring tally of the season from 20 goals to 22 goals making him the top scorer of the 2021/2022 GPL season.
Yaw Annor has also equalized Ishmael Addo’s record of scoring 22goals in a single Ghana Premier League season. Yaw Annor eyes a black stars call up ahead of the world later in the year at Qatar.
