Real Madrid makes a miraculous comeback to win 6:5 on aggregate against Manchester City

13 time UCL winners Real Madrid we’re on the verge of missing out on this season’s UCL final.

Manchester City went into the second league encounter with a 4:3 win over Real Madrid in the first league encounter at the Etihad.

Confidence of the Cityzens we’re very high looking at their record against the Spanish giants in recent years. Madrid before this match was also yet to return any first league loss in a UCL semi final encounter.

With Benzema balling out his peers this season, the Madridistas we’re also pessimistic that qualification was only imminent.

Man City took the lead through Riyad Mahrez on the 73rd minute. City looked set to be running away with the win and qualification until Super sub Rodrygo drew Madrid level on the 90th minute and also gave them the lead on the 91st minute.

Karim Benzema in the 95th minute gave Madrid a 3:1 lead through the penalty kick after he was brought down in the box by Laporte.

Real Madrid will be hoping to win their 14th UCL trophy whereas Liverpool will also be hopeful of getting their 7th UCL trophy. The finals take place in Paris on the 28th of May 2022.
