Today’s trending news is about an SHS leaver who is trending on social media after her video of crying uncontrollably hits the internet. We all know that in Ghana one of the major external examinations that students write and become excited about is the WASSCE.
In other to enter any university or tertiary institution in Ghana you need this kind of examination. This is one of the examinations in Ghana you need to pass and pass well before you get your preferred University or tertiary, the wassce examination is written every year.
Our current SHS leavers have started checking their results as they are out and many are surprised with what they got, others are happy with their results and waiting to buy their forms to their preferred Univerity or tertiary.
When most of the final year senior high school graduates are done with WASSCE, the females especially tend to braid their hairs and do a lot of things even before their results are released.
It’s normal that every year a section of students cry over the results while another group smiles after seeing their results. Most of the students who cry after seeing their results argue that they wrote more and expect better grades than what they have been given. Some even go to the extent of attempting suicide as a result of woeful performances.
This year’s WASSCE results have been released and students have begun checking. Some are happy with their results while others aren’t. A video going viral on social media platforms sees a female SHS graduate crying bitterly after checking her results.
After her results were printed and handed over to her, this girl started to cry and scream in the presence of those present. She could be heard saying; “ennye sei na mekyerew ye” which means “that’s not how I wrote it”. She was being consoled by a woman seated by her side.
