Kuami Eugene has made it known that he does what Kanye West does in America but just that Ghanaians are not supporting and giving him the attention that is why he has not been able to hit the world market.
Kuami Eugene who was born Eugene Kwame Marfo is a Ghanaian highlife and afrobeat singer-songwriter. He is signed to Lynx Entertainment. He has compared his musical prowess to that of an American rapper born Kanye Omari West. Kanye West is a singer, record producer, businessman, politician, and fashion designer.
Kuami Eugene in his wisdom believes he does what Kanye West does in America. He believes he does not get the attention and support from Ghanaians as Kanye West gets from the Americans.
He said this during an interview with Saddick Adams on Angel FM/TV. “I write my songs, sings, produces, and dances but I am not getting the required attention and support from Ghanaians. I think I would have gotten more attention if I live outside Ghana.”

He also believes that he does what the people like. “I sing what the people want to hear.”
He noted that Kanye West also does something similar but he’s popular almost everywhere in the world. But he is not going anywhere because he is a Ghanaian.
