Shatta Wale, a well-known Ghanaian dancehall artist, is again in the news after making fun of YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon following the viral videos of him moving through floodwater in his house.
A lot of flooding happened in Accra and various other cities after the heavy rainfall on May 18, 2025. Kwadwo Sheldon, living in one of the estates, filmed a video of himself walking through the water and expressed his frustration at the situation.
Despite having disputes online in the past, Shatta Wale offered to lend a hand to the YouTuber. Sheldon did not appreciate this and responded to the musician on social media by telling him to back off and that he didn’t want the help.

As always with Shatta Wale, he expressed himself freely. Instead, he mentioned Sheldon on X (formerly Twitter) and nicknamed him “Terminator 25” since he moved through the water with the same action movie flair seen in Terminator movies.
“You tryna swim inside the rain pool like the Terminator 😂😂😂😂 Terminator 25 🙌,” he said.
Shatta Wale went on by claiming that Sheldon’s home was flooded simply because he did not “fix his house” properly. He mentioned how his house was protected during the storm and that it didn’t suffer any damage.
You no fix your house

Then you deh talk ppl weh fix dem a house .. aboaaaa!!!!
Some fans are entertained by Shatta’s joking about the accident, while others feel it is insensitive at a time like this.
The situation is also being used by many Ghanaians to stress that poor drainage and flooding are a serious problem, affecting many well-planned and designed residential areas in the cities.

Although some people think the banter is funny, it really highlights how unpredictable the rainy season can be and how internet celebrities are affected too.
