Nigerian singer Portable has come out to say that he made a fortune of ₦70 million in just three days after his celebrity boxing match with fellow entertainer Speed Darlington.
The sensational fight took place on April 18, and it has caused heated online debate because of the continuous rivalry between Portable and Speed Darlington. By getting a technical knockout, Portable not only earned street respect but also made a lot of money.
In a recent interview, Portable explained how the earnings were generated. He said he got ₦30 million on the spot for agreeing to participate. A win was also another ₦20 million in the bag for him.
What amazed fans the most was Portable’s comment that Burna Boy personally sent him ₦20 million as a congratulatory gesture after his win. As reported by Portable, Burna’s generous donation was done since Burna Boy is thought to despise Speed Darlington.

“That is within three days,” said Portable “I made ₦70 million, it included ₦30 million for accepting the fight, ₦20 million for my victory, and Burna Boy added another ₦20 million for congratulations”.
