King Promise received the award of Artiste of the Year at the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
The artist who is known for his song “Paris” won over stiff competition from Stonebwoy, Joe Mettle, Black Sheriff, King Paluta, Team Eternity, and Kwaku Smoke.
King Promise, in his acceptance address, thanked his supporters with heartfelt emotion, his team, and his family.
“I would like to thank one person who influenced my career. “
King Promise paid tribute to his long-time producer, referring to KillBeatz as a legacy in live entertainment.
Showing more appreciation, he acknowledged his team and thanked his team, brothers, and fans all over the world.

He took the opportunity to raise up emerging artists by sharing his musical story with them.
“In my debut year, I received seven nominations and I didn’t win any of them,” he said.
But I work harder because I trust God’s timing. Today, I’m the chosen one.” King Promise’s message was powerful, calling young artists to endure in struggles.
Fabulous performances and a sleek appearance from the country’s top artists made the event one for the books. Some of the highlights of the night included wins by Ayisi, Empress Gifty, Kofi Kinaata, KiDi, Tulenkey, and Stonebwoy,, who all went home with awards.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was awarded to gospel music legend Yaw Sarpong for his great contributions to the genre.
The night ended with excitement, and King Promise’s win rightly belongs in the ranks of the most anticipated and loudly applauded highlights.
