There was a lot of laughter, music, and hugging, as Kennedy Ohene Agyapong celebrated his 65th birthday on Sunday, June 23, 2025.
However, through all the influential politicians, corporate elites, and applauding well-wishers, the young daughter, Nana Akua Agyapong, was the real star of the event.
Prominent personalities such as NPP heavy hawks Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), MP Stephen Amoah, and General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua were present at the plush residence of the former Assin Central MP.
There was also the presence of business giants such as Dr. Osei Kwame Despite and Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong.
However, a rare occurrence was the presence of Nana Akua—daughter of Kennedy Agyapong and the late Stacy Offei-Darko. The young lady was in a beautiful white dress, and she sat at the head table with her father and was beaming with love and pride.
It is Nana Akua who has been largely out of the spotlight but who seemed comfortable and humble, likeable to many not only at the event but even on the internet.
Her photos and videos spread fast in the social media and users complimented her natural beauty and elegant stance.

People on social media wrote a lot of comments on how she looks like her father, whom they call a photocopy of him. As one user, Nana Qwadjo, noted, “She is not wearing makeup but still beautiful as the morning star.
Desmond Gyamfi added another, “She is so pretty and simple. 😍.”
Although Kennedy Agyapong is an authoritative figure and a sharp talker, his silence at the moment when he was being honoured as a proud father moved a lot of people.
The look of Nana Akua was also a touching dedication to her deceased mother, Stacy Offei-Darko, who died in 2018 in tragic circumstances.
Other than the glamour, there was also humility at the party. A few days before the splashy party, Kennedy held a small ceremony and served breakfast to followers with his own hands, a move that made many people understand why he has been a favourite.
Now that Kennedy is in a new phase of his life at 65, it is apparent that his legacy was not limited to politics or business only, but his legacy also took shape in the form of his proud and growing children who are carrying forward the name with elegance and panache.
