This is another development in the brewing feud in the New Patriotic Party (NPP), where controversial party member Kwame Baffoe (Abronye) has yet again fired salvos at Hon. Kennedy Agyapong.
Abronye has made daring accusations on a recent broadcast via his Ohia TV platform that Kennedy Agyapong is the secret mastermind of the online attacks against the former vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Abronye asserts that Hon. Agyapong pays bloggers and the media to spread harmful information about Dr. Bawumia, which is strategic to tarnish his image.
The platforms mentioned by him, including Ken TV and others, are under the control of Agyapong and are used to disseminate untruths or incite people to attack the former vice president.
Abronye claimed that it is a political ploy. He revealed that Kennedy Agyapong has a personal interest in financing such attacks to ensure that Dr. Bawumia does not enjoy the favor of the people of Ghana anymore.
And later, in an ironical twist, Agyapong himself, in a show of irony, publicly criticizes the same platforms he was advancing—in a desperate attempt to portray himself as one that was against such attacks.
According to Abronye, “he is a two-sided player. He sponsors the insult and then feigns to defend Bawumia. It is all politically expedient.”
These remarks are made amidst the strain that has existed in the NPP in the recent times between followers of the two leading individuals.
At the time of filing this report, the allegations have not been responded to officially by Kennedy Agyapong, the former Member of Parliament and business mogul.
In the meantime, Abronye has cautioned the general people and NPP supporters to be keen on undesired political interests. According to him, not all that is online is real. Others are just tugging behind the scenes.

This is not a new occurrence, as Abronye has been openly criticizing Kennedy Agyapong before.
Their political differences have become one of the most discussed matters among the party, and it is a cause for concern whether they will remain united in the run-up to the 2028 general elections.
Such revelations come at a time when the NPP are yet to heal the wounds of internal squabbling following the 2024 elections, and it can only serve to further destabilize the already fragile bonds of mistrust existing between members and sympathizers.
