Famous artiste manager and showbiz savant, Lawrence Nana Asiamah, otherwise called Bulldog has said that musicians don’t necessarily need a hit track before they can confidently give their fans an incredible performance on stage.

In a discussion course on United Showbiz on UTV, Bulldog expressed that the specific character of the artiste in question is a major contributing factor to consider and furthermore, the stage the musician is given to play out his performance.

Shedding more light on his assertion, he said, “Self-awareness is the most important thing. I always say you don’t need a hit song to entertain a bunch of people. You don’t need it. Your persona when you are on stage, what you do, how you move, communicate, and all matters.”

The renowned critic, additionally responding to the performance of Black Sherif at the 25th occasion of the Music of Black Origin (MOBO) award, expressed that the self-awareness of the rapper/singer, will have him go places beyond the reach of his peers in the music industry.

“There are few times I have chanced on his (Blacko) interviews and performances. He sounds highly philosophical. He knows what he is about. So what I saw at the MOBO awards was not surprising. He is on that path already,” he expounded.

Ending his elucidation, he said, “After seeing him on the MOBO awards stage, I see him performing at the Grammy’s and all the big stages you can think of. He won’t be timid like the Black Stars.”
