Ghana banned by FIFA for age cheating
Ghana’s Black Maidens have been banned from competing in the next two editions of the FIFA U17 Women’s AFCON Qualifiers and fined $100,000 for age cheating.
This follows protest made by the Moroccan FA that Nancy Amoh & Rasheeda Shahadu used falsified ages.
The Black Maidens missed out on qualifications to Morocco on penalties in Casablanca. The ban will see Ghana miss out on two FIFA U17 world cup qualifiers.
