Expressing his gratitude, the captain of the Black Stars, Jordan Ayew, has written to Ghanaians for their profound support during their games against Chad and Madagascar. The Black Stars of Ghana secured victories in both games in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
First, the Black Stars played against Chad in front of home fans at the Accra Sports Stadium. Ghana won the game with five unanswered goals. Antoine Semenyo, Inaki Williams, Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Salisu, and Ernest Nuamah were on the scoresheet for Ghana. Three days later, the Black Stars traveled to Morocco to play against Madagascar. Ghana won the game with three goals and, once again, a clean sheet for Hearts of Oak’s Benjamin Asare.
After this incredible performance by the team, the captain acknowledged the support that Ghanaian fans showed them during those games. In his acknowledgment, he stated that though the team faced challenges in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, they are committed to turning things around and making Ghanaians proud.
