Asamoah Gyan and Abedi Pele have been appointed as football ambassadors of the 2025 African Schools Football Championship in Ghana.
The two former Black Stars captains received appointments from CAF in order to promote the upcoming tournament and motivate young footballers throughout Africa.
Through their ambassadorship roles, Gyan and Pele have a dual responsibility to promote the championship while motivating upcoming youth talents to maximize their potential.
The renowned football developers of Africa utilize their shared dedication to build youth talent because they seek to inspire the next generation of football stars.
The 2025 African Schools Football Championship will bring forth a major youth football spectacle to Ghana during April 21 to 26, 2025. The competition will occur at the University of Ghana Stadium in Accra, where different football clubs from the continent will vie for championship honours.
Abedi Pele maintains a lifelong commitment to supporting the advancement of young footballers because he is recognized globally among the best African players ever.

The football club Nania FC, founded by Pele, enables the development of many promising talents who became Ghanaian representatives at different age categories and national-level teams.
