Online attention has been drawn to the presenting abilities of Ghanaian comedian and media star Akrobeto, who goes by Akwasi Boadi in his private life.
This comes after a British football fan proposed that Akrobeto be brought on as Gary Lineker’s replacement on the BBC’s Match Of The Day (MOTD).
After 25 years in charge, Lineker, a former England international, will leave his position as MOTD host at the end of the current campaign.

Josh Pearson backed Akrobeto as the best substitute after learning of the striker’s “retirement” from Leicester City, Tottenham, and Barcelona.
He reposted a video of the Ghanaian comedian as well as the article regarding Lineker’s leaving. Akrobeto mentioned a few English Premier League results in the video.
“The only suitable replacement. Make it happen BBC,” Pearson jested.
