Ibrahim Mahama donates ₵50k more cash to Suzzy Pinamang for living expenses after returning from the UK.
Ibrahim Mahama donates ₵50k to support the living expenses of Suzzy Pinamang following her return to Ghana after a successful eye surgery in the United Kingdom.
Suzzy Pinamang is a form two student at Adventist Senior High School; she got injured after her colleague student accidentally shot her in the eye. With the help of Ghanaian businessman Ibrahim Mahama and others, her eye surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London was successful.

Rafik Mahama, who is Ibrahim Mahama’s special aide, announced the return of Suzzy to Ghana via a Facebook post that had people rejoicing over the success of her eye treatment in the UK.
Rafik paid a visit to Pinamang and her family, where he presented the GH₵50,000 cash on behalf of a popular Ghanaian businessman.

The donation is expected to cover Suzzy’s living expenses as she continues her recovery, pending a medical review scheduled for September 2025.

The grateful family and neighbors were visibly emotional, rolling on the floor in appreciation as they offered prayers for Ibrahim Mahama.
“We appreciate the support. God bless you; may God grant you and your family long life,” they said.
On May 10, 2025, Suzzy Pinamang was transported to the UK with the support of Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and sponsorship from Ibrahim Mahama.

Her situation gained national attention earlier this year when she was shot accidentally and suffered severe eye injuries, leading to demands for immediate medical attention.
With the procedure now successfully completed, Suzzy Pinamang is expected to resume school in the coming weeks after returning to the country.
