The up and coming Ghanaian footballer, Jerry Afriyie, is demonstrating to his fans that he is more than a talented performer on the field, but he too has a tasteful sense of style.
The 18-year-old Black Stars forward came into the spotlight of the internet a few days back when he was spotted wearing a head-turning outfit worth an estimated GHS 40,000.
Afriyie, arriving straight out of a strong loan stint in Spain with CD Lugo, was seen poolside in an impressive high end outfit that mixed street style and designer class.
Jerry could have easily passed off as a contemporary fashion symbol with the fur material Balenciaga boots and leather-ish-looking beret.
His white, shaggy sweater—which is said to be of mohair or fake fur—had a cozy but fashionable appearance. When it was accompanied by large black shorts with silver studs and chains, it formed an edgy look.
The white-rimmed sunglasses and a designer chain gave the look a polished end.

The Goyard Saint Louis PM Tote bag, an exclusive luxury item that made a scream of style and status, was what truly locked the outfit. The total outfit, as fashion insiders estimate, will sum to between GHS 40,000 and GHS 45,000.
The fashion moment is reached in a time when Jerry is also advancing in his football career. Put on loan in Spanish team CD Lugo the young striker scored four goals and assisted two in only 10 games, proving crucial to the avoiding of relegation.
Back with his parent club, Al Qadsiah in Saudi Arabia, he has been tracked by his admirers to determine his next destination. It is reported that he is set to be reunited with fellow Ghanaian star Christopher Bonsu Baah who is said to be joining Qadsiah of Belgium.
His achievements on and off the field are enough to make Jerry Afriyie a name to watch; not only in football, but also in fashion as well. This is one thing we can tell you definitely, the man knows how to make a statement, whether it is on the field or off the field.
