Sabrina Carpenter wins the Best Pop Solo Performance at the Grammy Awards 2025.
At the 67th annual Grammy Awards, pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter won the inaugural Best Pop Solo Performance prize.
The 25-year-old singer won the Best Pop Solo Performance of 2024 award for her number-one single Espresso during the Grammy premiere ceremony, making her a first-time winner.

For her songs Espresso, Please Please Please, and Taste from her sixth successful studio album, Short n’ Sweet, Sabrina has been nominated for six categories at this year’s competition.
At the pre-ceremony, other artists were also recognized including Charli XCX who was granted two awards. The British singer brought home the Best Dance/Pop Album award for her album Brat and Best Dance/Pop Song for its lead single Von Dutch.
In the Best Country Solo Performance category, country star Chris Stapleton won for his It Takes A Woman. It was also a big night for musician Sierra Ferrell who brought home an award for Best Americana Performance for her song American Dreaming, beating out Beyoncé in the category. In addition to this win, Sierra was also honored in the Best Americana Album for her song Trail of Flowers.
The premiere ceremony kicked off at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 3:30 p.m. The live show began with a beautiful rendition of Simon & Garfunkel’s Bridge Over Troubled Water which was dedicated to the victims of the devastating LA wildfires.
To kick off the night Grammys CEO Harvey Mason Jr took the stage introducing the ceremony and thanking the line-up of talented artists for inspiring, healing, and uniting the world through their art. He also went on to add that this year’s telecast proceeds will be going towards those impacted by the fires and shared a heartwarming message for LA residents. Mason said, “Because of the recent fires that devastated Los Angeles, we’re also going to recognize the resilience of our community and celebrate our first responders and do our very best to lift up this city that we love.”
