Court Orders Sale Of Michael Essien’s Houses

Ghanaian football legend Michael Essien is set to lose two houses in East Legon and Trassaco due to a new court order, according to a report by the Daily Guide.

The two huge properties we’re talking about are located at Trassaco (phase 2), Adjiringano (House Number 204/205), and East Lagon (House Number 9), Both houses are located in the capital city of Ghana, Accra.

According to the auctioneer, whose name is hidden for some specific reasons, it is known that the two properties are valued between $20 million and $30 million.

The Ghanaian football legend started his football career in France, where he first played for Bastia before making an important move to Olympique Lyonnais. Because of his high-quality play, he attracted several European clubs, but he ended up joining Chelsea, where he became the highest-paid player in the team.

Michael Essien spent some years in the Chelsea team and helped achieve so many titles, including the Premier League and a Champions League trophy.

During Essein’s active playing days, he joined Jose Mourino at Real Madrid and also played for AC Milan.

After returning from football as a player, Michael Essien started his coaching career and secured the assistant coaching role at Danish side FC Nordsjaelland. Currently, the football legend has reached a stage in life where challenges are beginning to eat him up despite having businesses and investments from his time as a football player.

Reasons why the court ordered the sale of Michael Essien’s house.

It is still unclear what has led to the auction of the ex-footballer’s mansions and whether it has anything to do with a legal battle.
