Samuel Eto’o’s dream to become an FA President didn’t was a well planned one says Asamoah Gyan

Samuel Eto’o joined the list of former players who later became FA presidents when he won the Cameroonian FA seat early this year.

This seat has encouraged the likes of Didier Drogba to also venture into football administration.

“I was on the flight with him. He told me becoming President of the FA is not something you just wake up to. He planned it for years. He said the mere fact that you’re legend won’t guarantee you the seat”
