Spanish Coach Pep Guardiola throws shade at Liverpool after thrashing Newcastle United
Manchester City’s manager Pep Guardiola throws a shade at Liverpool after thrashing Newcastle United by 5 goals to nothing at the Etihad stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Guardiola had this to say after he was questioned about his win against Newcastle United.
Pep Guardiola: “Liverpool has an incredible history in European competitions… not in the #PL because they’ve won one in 30 years…”
Pep Guardiola: “Everyone in this country supports Liverpool, the media and everyone… Our destiny is in our hands, this is important.”
Pep’s Man City bowed out of the UCL after being dramatically eliminated by Real Madrid. The Citizens only have the Premier League to fight for.
Man City tops the league table with 86 points with rivals Liverpool also with 83 points. The race for the title is still on though.
