Senegal Legend Sadio Mane inspired Liverpool’s win over Villarreal in the first league of this year’s Uefa Champions League Semi final encounter.

It was stalemate at half time as Villarreal proved too stubborn to break. A deflected shot from Jordan Henderson put Liverpool in ahead.

Mohammed Salah later combined with Mane to give Liverpool their second goal of the night as Liverpool seem to be heading to Paris for the final.

Mane’s goal saw him equal Didier Drogba’s record of most goals scored by an African player in the Champions League Knockout stage.
