The headquarters of Christ Embassy in Lagos has caught an unquenchable fire.
On Sunday, June 23, 2024, the Christ Embassy community woke up to sad news about their headquarters on fire, the huge head office is located on the Billing Way in the Oregun area of Ikeja, Lagos State.

Ghnewslive saw many videos circulating on social media from the sad scenes, X. The residents watched on in panic as there was little they could do about it.
Some of the videos showed the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service with their men trying to quench the fire. However, his solitary effort turned futile as the water gushing out from his fighting instrument could barely reach the fire spot.
“Serious fire is raging, and men of the Lagos State Fire Service are working hard to put it off. Thank God service hasn’t commenced fully,” an X user Chief_Augustin1 wrote.
As of the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire incident remains unknown.
Even though it was a Sunday morning, the building looked deserted from the outside, suggesting that congregants were absent.
