Grace Latoya Hamilton or Queen Spice, a Jamaican dancehall artist, has been to Ghana, West Africa.
Late on a Thursday evening, November 14, 2024, Queen Spice touched down at Kotoka International Airport in Accra. She arrived sporting a beautiful all-blue Graci Noir ensemble, complete with white sneakers and a matching bag from her own clothing company.
At the airport entry, she was greeted enthusiastically by a group of fervent supporters, and she celebrated by taking pictures with airport employees.
Spice is making her first trip to Ghana, where she will collaborate with Stonebwoy on a music video for their song “Whine & Jiggle,” which is part of their “Up & Running” album.
“I’m very excited because I don’t think I’ve been this excited to travel or I go somewhere before. This is my most exciting trip ever, I’ve never been to Ghana before and this is my first time. Stonebwoy you really did a big one” — Spice said upon her arrival in Ghana.

Meanwhile, Spice is best known for her aggressive style, versatile music, and outspoken lyrics in dancehall music.
After playing at Jamaica’s yearly Sting festival in 2000, she became well-known. Her first single, “Complain,” was released in 2003, marking her official debut in the Jamaican music industry.
Hits like “Right There” and “Hype” were released after Spice’s debut, and her diligence and commitment resulted in partnerships with well-known musicians like Beenie Man in 2006 and Jimmy Cliff in 2004.
Spice has since established herself in the music business and asserted her status as the “Queen of Dancehall.”
