Sefa, a Ghanaian Afrobeat singer, has announced her departure from D Black’s record label, Avenue Muzik.
The Ghanaian Afrobeat sensation, Sefa D Black’s Black Avenue Muzik in the year 2018. Now five years down the line, she extended an additional year and finally decided to part ways with the label.
The musician has finally said goodbye to the label that enabled her to reach a noteworthy milestone in her career.
in December 3, 2024, Sefa wrote in her Instagram account that her choice represents a thrilling new phase in her career as an artist.
“When I joined the label in 2018, I did do with hopes and dreams of sharing my voice, my music, and my passion with the world. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with talented individuals, releasing music that resonates with so many, and growing into the artiste I am today,” Sefa said.
Sefa reflected on her time with the label and highlighted her artistic and personal growth in her poignant farewell statement.
She acknowledged the experiences and relationships she made while working with the stable and thanked Black Avenue Muzik for providing her with a platform.
“Thank you, Black Avenue Muzik for being a part of my story. And to my fans, thank you for being the foundation of my success.”
Sefa urged her fans to continue with their support as she embarks on a new chapter and journey.
“As I move forward, I promise to continue giving you music that speaks to your hearts, moves your souls and celebrates the vibrant culture we share. This is just the beginning of something truly special, and I am excited to take you along with me on this ride.”
