The just ended FIFA World Cup competition held in Qatar, has seen some historic memories, the most pivotal of all, being the legendary victory of the Argentines, led by star-studded football genius, Lionel Messi, against the French team, most valiantly considered a worthy opponent, by the handiwork of Kylian Mbappe, who stood his ground through to the very end of the battle.
After what may be termed as probably the most iconic World Cup finals match in history, Lionel Messi and the Argentine team, brought back honor and dignity to their country, after 36 years since their last World Cup victory, during the days of Diego Maradona.
Lionel Messi, upon lifting the World Cup trophy, has now sealed his status, as the greatest footballer of all time in his generation, since he is known to have already won every other medal in the field of his profession.
However, despite his most magnificent accomplishment and distinguished elevation, Yaw Dabo, a Ghanaian actor and football school owner, says Cristiano Ronaldo is still the best of all time.
Speaking during an interview via UTV, the actor said Messi’s World Cup achievement won’t change his assessment of what constitutes the Greatest of All Time (GOAT).
Yaw Dabo says that Nicolas Otamendi and Virgil Van Dijk winning the World Cup, doesn’t make them better defenders.
As per him, everybody believes Cristiano Ronaldo is the GOAT, hence, winning the World Cup doesn’t make a player the GOAT.
Yaw Dabo also contended that Argentina’s penalty kicks demerit Messi’s World Cup title, and triumph.Â
