Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale, has revealed that no artiste in Ghana can fill the Accra sports stadium for a live concert or show performance.
A recent video of Shatta Wale has turned into a web sensation a couple of hours after Nigerian music star, Wizkid, had an abysmal show undertaking at the Accra Sports Stadium, leading to a total failure in his endeavor to successfully organize his highly anticipated concert.
There are a few reports indicating that Wizkid might have opted out of the ‘Wizkid Live Concert’, as a result of low ticket patronage. Be that as it may, the Nigerian performer has denied the reports, expressing his justification for why he was unable to appear in person at the stadium.
Amidst the uproar, a video post of Shatta Wale has reemerged, where he expressed that no artiste in Ghana can fill the Accra Sports Stadium, a reaction that perhaps suggest that Wizkid might have probably filled the booked venue.
Speaking to that effect, the Dancehall artiste expressly said, “Unless it’s a political rally, if it’s not NPP or NDC or maybe Pastor Mensah Otabil or Pastor Chris, I am telling you people something, write it down, or Duncan Williams, or Bishop Agyin Asare, or maybe it’s Kotoko and Hearts, we have never had a show like that at the stadium where you can see that the place is filled up for one artiste.”
