The new IGP has been hailed by most Ghanaians as he goes after celebrities in Ghana like Medikal who are misbehaving because of fame.

Ghanaian rapper and father of one Medikal who gained popularity with his controversial songs has been in the hot seat since the beginning of this week. He has been investigated thoroughly over his gun video which went viral in minutes.
Per a news report from Citi news today, the AMG Business top artiste has been remanded to prison custody for 5 days. The report also makes it known that a Circuit Court judge in Accra summoned the 3 music awards winner to his premises after days of scrutinizing video.
Medikal was charged with a display of arms and ammunition by the court pleaded guilty to the crime hence things were extremely easy for the judge at the helm of affairs.
The presiding judge in the person of Emmanuel Essandor then remanded the AMG Business star to a five-day prison sentence even though parts of the investigations are still ongoing.

AMG Medikal will also be at the Ankaful prisons in the Central Region for five days. This comes barely a day after his best friend Shatta Wale was remanded with 4 others at the Ankaful Prison in Central.
