The mighty France falls to magical Lamine Yamal
16 year old Lamine Yamal was at his magical best as he led the Spanish national team to victory over 2022 world cup finalists France.
The semi final clash between Spain and France was tagged by many as the final before final and it really did live up to expectations.
The French took an early lead on the 10th minute, courtesy Randal Kolo Muani. Kylian Mbappe’s perfect cross was headed home by the PSG forward to give France the lead. It was their first open play goal in the tournament.
Spain on the other hand, grew into the game after conceding early with Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal tormenting the French defense.
A 21st minute wonder strike from the wonder boy Lamine Yamal was all it took to bring Spain back into game after chasing for a equalizer for so long. Dani Olmo’s 25th minute strike was deflected home by Jules Kounde give Spain the lead for the first time in the game.
Every attempt by the French to get back into the game proved unfruitful as the Spanish defense stood their grounds against the French attack.

Ngolo Kante’s 20 matches unbeaten record comes to an end as his French side lost to Spain.
Kante was substituted on the 62nd minute by coach Didier Deschamps as he replaced the Legendary midfield dynamo with Antoine Griezmann.
