Ghanaian hip-hop artist Kwesi Arthur believes Musicians from Ghana can only fill the 02 Arena if only they stay united and plan towards it
Ghanaian artists have been bashed and criticized by entertainment critics for their inability to fill the 02 Arena just as their colleagues from Nigeria. Asake, Davido, Burna Boy and Wizkid have been able to hold successful programs at the Arena.
Despite being billed to perform on big programs abroad, no Ghanaian artist has been able to host or fill the Arena yet, not even Sarkodie, Shatta Wale or Stonebwoy and this has been the worry of the entertainment critics in Ghana.
The grind up hitmaker on the other hand believes that it is possible for Ghanaian artists to fill the most talked about Arena if only they come together and put away their differences.
“We can fill the 02 Arena if we come together.”
“It’ll be great to fill it up. But with how I’m moving, it’s my intention to build gradually. Now, it’s not the time for me to do that yet. I’m still building, and when the time is right, I’m going to do it.”
“Ghanaians have the ability to do that. If we all come together, we can possibly do a show there.”
