Kwaku Bonsam Stirs Online Buzz
Ghanaian fetish priest, Nana Kwaku Bonsam has now caused another controversy on social media by issuing strong sentiments against the husband of Nana Agradaa, Angel Asiamah.
The vocal spiritualist, in an interview granted to Lawson TV, was not sparing and indicated that Angel Asiamah will not have the strength and control to deal with a personality like Nana Agradaa, currently facing a 15-year jail term in Nsawam Prison.
Kwaku Bonsam directly accuses Asiamah of the fall of Agradaa, hinting that Asiamah did not lead or punish her and this has led to her current state.
“She could be controlled by her ex-husband. Not this latest one, no,” Kwaku Bonsam said, “He is too soft.“

He also rejected the recent debate about Agradaa’s statements about being intimate with Asiamah. In his opinion, such comments were out of place, and what Agradaa stated only indicates that she has never had an actual experience with a man that is strong and capable.
During a controversial part of the interview, Kwaku Bonsam even made the comparison of himself with Angel Asiamah physically and sexually. He said he would have treated Agradaa differently because he is more manly than Asiamah.
“I tell you, Agradaa never saw a real man in her life. Had she done so, things would have been different,” he said, which drew both the viewers and social media users to respond.
His remarks have been distasteful to many Ghanaians, and some have even accused Kwaku Bonsam of taking advantage of a serious matter to seek clout. This is, however, viewed by others as his typical uncensored manner.
The grievance between spiritual leaders and controversial personalities in Ghana is one that is still generating wild debates online.
Agradaa is now in prison, so her husband, Angel Asiamah, is in charge of her church, Heaven Way Champion International Ministry, and attempting to keep the church going without her.
Although it has attracted a lot of attention, when Kwaku Bonsam made the statements, it made one wonder what role is played by the use of high-profile individuals in delicate issues.
This has created an even more dramatic twist to an already playing-out spiritual saga; whether it purports to be in jest or challenge, his words have made it even more dramatic.
