The late Kumawood actor, Osei Tutu’s burial was held in a somber and emotional setting.
On Thursday, July 8, Osei Tutu’s hometown of Kumasi held his last funeral rites. Celebrity and lifestyle blogger Zionfelix posted a video showcasing Big Akwes, Nana Yeboah, Shifo, Louisa Adinkra, Michael Afrane, Kyekyeku, Oteele, Oboy Sika, and Matilda Asare.

After a brief illness, the late actor passed away in May 2022 somewhere. Up until a recent update that connected his death to a woman he conned, his mother had suspected foul play and accused someone in the business of orchestrating his murder.
Until his death, the actor was widely known for promoting money doubling and lotto operations on some TV stations based in Kumasi.
Even shortly after his death, a lot of Ghanaians confirmed he has been helping these fraudsters marauding as the aforementioned ‘professionals’ to dupe unsuspecting viewers of the TV show.
This has been confirmed by a man who said a woman who hails from Ada with recourse to a native doctor killed the actor as a way of seeking redress after he duped her of ₵200.
In his words, “Tutu and his people on live TV promised to double the money on behalf of a woman from Ada to make it ₵400 but he never fulfilled his promise.
The woman tried everything she could to get the money but he ignored her.”
Meanwhile, his mother previously said in an interview she suspected someone in the industry killed her son spiritually.
“My son told me that someone in the Kumawood movie industry has taken him to a spiritualist to end his life. In the process, my son vomited 9 needles and blood. That happened before his death. Anytime he coughed, blood followed”, the mom had revealed shortly after his death.
