Kofi Kinaata, who has been tagged as one of the most sensible songwriters in Ghana, has taken to social media to express how he has benefited from Otumfuo’s mention.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the great Asantehene, made this huge impact in Kofi Kinaata’s career by referencing his music as sensible during his keynote speech at the just-ended Ghana Bar Association Annual Conference.
The Asantehene also made things clear on the importance of building and upholding Ghana’s reputation on the world stage as far as peace is concerned as the nation prepares for its upcoming elections.
He also sends some advice to the youth of Ghana to maintain the peace they’re enjoying and also resort to the law anytime they feel cheated, other than resorting to other alternatives.
During this incredible speech, he then quoted Kofi Kinaata’s popular song, Susuka, as one of the songs he enjoyed.
This triggered a lot of reactions online, as most Ghanaians agree with the great king.
Kofi Kinaata himself took to his social media to celebrate and also shared the benefits he has gained from this recognition.
He posted, “By mentioning my name, every number has increased… streams, views, and social media engagement.”
The Ghanaian musician has been relevant in the industry since his introduction, and he made his mark through songs like Susuka, Time no Dey, Made in Taadi, Adam and Eve, Behind the Scenes, Effiakuma Love, and many more.
