Furious Ghanaians have diverted some resentment from Wizkid unto King Promise after the youthful singer was spotted on a personal luxury plane with Wizkid, Subsequently after he disregarded his fans.
Wizkid declined to perform at a show he was billed to make an appearance on, on Saturday, held at the Accra Sports Stadium, dubbed “Wizkid Live Accra”.
Beside Wizkid, King Promise was additionally billed to perform and likewise, failed to show up.
Soon after they two artistes disappointed their huge fan base, they were spotted, freely chilling on a personal luxury plane as they flew out of the country.
Anyway, it appears Wizkid took the same steps, as he repeated a similar stunt in Abidjan, declining to turn up at a show he was billed for. He however performed in Cotonou, Benin.
Providing an explanation for why he couldn’t perform, Wizkid laid the entire fault on ‘production and safety issues’. King Promise, taking the footsteps of his colleague, went in a similar direction by delivering a broad statement of regret.
Fans were infuriated to see King Promise hanging out with Wizkid after he took Ghanaians for granted in such a disrespectful manner.
Out of frustration, fans communicated disdain at his behavior, and said they were finished with him.
“For Promise err I literally have all his albums on my phone, attends his concert and tins but am pained even tho I didn’t buy ticket for this show but am so pained, not sure I will attend any of his show any time soon,” one fan fumed.
Wizkid and King Promise are being torn to pieces all over social media, but by all indications, the two artistes aren’t slightly bothered at all by the level of rageful remarks being thrown their way, seeing as they immediately took off on a private jet, having the time of their lives.
