King Charles III Invites Ashanti King
The British Monarch, King Charles III, has invited His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, to attend the late Queen Elizabeth II’s official funeral service.
Lady Julia Osei Tutu, the wife of the Asantehene, has also been invited.
Otumfuo has been invited to the Queen’s Lying-In-State, the King’s Reception, State Funeral Services, and the Foreign Secretary’s Reception. On Monday, September 19, 2022, the event will take place.
