Jemimah Rodrigues was born on 5 September 2000 in Bhandup, Mumbai. She went on to study at Rizvi College. At the age of seventeen, she was part of the Mumbai Under-17 hockey team. She was also part of the India national women’s cricket team.

Jemimah Rodrigues is the daughter of a cricketer and she is the second woman to score a double century in a 50 over match. The young cricketer scored 202 runs off 163 balls in November 2017 against Saurashtra in Aurangabad. She is also a Christian and has two brothers.
