Divine Ikubor, often known as Rema, is a well-known musician from Nigeria. He claims it is offensive to anyone who suggests he isn’t as good as Burna Boy, Davido, or Wizkid.
In response to criticism following his controversial tweet, “No more Big 3 there’s now a Big 4,” Rema made this statement while promoting his new single, “Hehehe,” which was made available via Mavin Global Holdings on Monday morning.
Collectively known as the “Big 3,” Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido are considered to be the biggest Nigerian/Afrobeats musicians in the world.
But Rema has been insisting that he is now on the Afrobeats megastar list, making it a “Big 4.”
He sings: “No more big 3, there’s now a big 4. People go para but what for? Dem go say I don’t deserve it but that is an insult.”
