Westline entertainment, the organizers of Western Music Awards organizes this event to honor artistes who have made significant impact in their respective music genres.
Sekondi-Takoradi fast-rising songwriter and Afrobeat artiste Benedict Bernard Baker, popularly know in the entertainment fraternity as Mhr Kay has disclosed how his nomination in the 5th edition of Western Music Awards helped him.
Mhr Kay who was nominated in the “New Artiste of Year” category alongside Naana Blu, Braa Ownes, Janerita, Prince Keemo, Kilo, Slim Drumz and Kay Bryn, unfortunately for him, Naana Blu won.
Speaking on his lost at the Western Music Awards on Radio Premier 100.5 with RM Fergy, the “Knocking on my door” crooner said, it was a big plus for him to get nomination at the Western Music Awards and he thank God for the opportunity.
He Said;
“It was a big plus for me to get nomination in the Western Music Awards because I’m professionally a year older in this game. I really thank God for the wonderful opportunity “
Mhr Kay is out with a new hip hop tune dubbed “Case Of Money”.
