Managing Director Multi TV (Multimedia Group Limited), Santokh Singh has expressed disappointment in how some musicians use their position as celebrity to promote nudity in their music videos.
Mr Santokh Singh speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz103.9 FM, GhNewsLive monitored he made some remarks about how these musicians can use their voices and music videos to promote themselves in a positive way and not always using models who are half naked on social media.
He also made it a point that his biggest concern the impact these music videos will have on the youth.
“I’ve spoken to few artiste on the subject, I’ve spoken to Okyeame Kwame, Stonebowy on the need for us to stop these nudity especially in the music videos which is draining the youth because a lot of youth follow them and see them as their role models”Mr Santokh Singh
He further made it clear that his office as the Managing Director Multi TV (Multimedia Group Limited), won’t allow any music video that has nudity in it no matter how big the artiste may be and also they won’t promote personalities who expose themselves on social media.
Mr Santokh also added that celebrities and other personalities should come together to project the African continent in a positive way to the outside world.
