Veteran musician Akosua Adjepong has urged upcoming and young artistes in Ghana to keep the highlife music alive.
Speaking to Becky on the E WITH BECKS SHOW, the singer said the current generation should not let highlife die and encourage them to do more to preserve highlife.
“To my young ones, despite the insults don’t let highlife die,” she said
She also advised the musicians in the “new school” to take oldies in the entertainment industry as their friends.
“Some of the new female musicians will see me and were not friendly and they just pass by”
The singer also hinted of a possible collaborate with musicians in the “new school” such as Wendy shay, Kuami Eugene and Mzvee.
