Earthquake in Turkey has been the sad news of the day, here is what you need to know
According to confirmed reports from various Turkish media outlets, Christian Atsu, a Ghanaian international, and his Turkish teammates are currently trapped under rubble following an earthquake.
According to reports, the two players and two staff members were “rescued from the rubble,” but Atsu and the club’s sporting director, Taner Savut, are still missing.

A search and rescue operation is underway to try to find the two. Goalkeeper Ahmet Eyup of Yeni Malatyaspor is also said to be buried beneath the debris.
Meanwhile, over 23,000 people have died as a result of the terrifying Earthquake.
