Established Ghanaian musician, Daddy Lumba, has expressed his genuine appreciation, with respect to witnessing Stormzy’s appealing act of honor and diligence, made towards him at the Global Citizen Festival.
Renowned Ghanaian artist, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, prominently known as Daddy Lumba has expressed his gratitude to Stormzy for honoring him at the Global Citizen Festival held at the Black Star Square in Accra.
In a Facebook post, ‘Abin Wo Ha’ hitmaker communicated that he is so thankful to the UK-based Ghanaian rapper, for his welcomed accord of honor.
As per Daddy Lumba, he is grateful of Stormzy’s public presentation of affection and he is touched by the flow of love shown him by the artist.
“I was immensely touched by Stormzy’s homage to me last night at the Global Citizen Festival . I would like to take this opportunity to share my gratitude and appreciation for the public display of love. To say that the gesture was heartwarming and humbling is an understatement. Thank you very much!”, the appreciative veteran singer, willfully expressed.
The kindly directed words of gratitude, came about after Ghanaian rapper, initially known as Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr., appeared on stage with a shirt reflecting of Daddy Lumba’s picture during his performance at the Global Citizen Festival.
Stormzy honored the veteran entertainer at the occassion which was observed at the Black Stars square during the course of the weekend.
