One of the popular Ghanaian Afro-dancer, Incredible Zigi narrated how he missed out on Beyonce’s “Already” music video shoot featuring Shatta Wale.
According to Zigi who is the founder and owner of Afro-Zigi Foundation, he would have been the one to be featured in the Already music video and not his direct competitor Dancegod Lloyd. Dancegod Lloyd and his dance crew were starred in Beyonce’s Already music video.
Their portion in the video was shot in Ghana. The rivalry between Dancegod Lylod and Incredible Zigi has been there for a very long time, as we all know Ghanaians and comparison, but the funny thing is none of these two Dancers has confirmed the rivalry.
Giovanni Caleb interviewed Zigi on Showbiz 360 which shows on TV3, and Incredible Zigi made it clear that his negligence caused him to miss the great opportunity to work with Beyonce.
He said in the interview that, Beyonce sent him a message on Instagram but he did not see it because of the numerous notifications he had after posting a video.
Incredible Zigi showed his dissatisfaction by saying that his offer from Beyonce included a physical meeting with her because a trip to the United States to film the music video was included.
I was checking my requests and saw that they had dm-ed me 57 weeks ago. Anytime I make a video, people mention me in their stories. So if there is a DM, it goes down. That’s how I found out later that they had already texted me and they wanted to fly me there. He Said
Mine was directly to fly me there. That was around August -October. From that experience, I am always checking my dm.He added
