Girl Girls’s son accuses Auntie Naa for spending his Mother’s funeral money
An interesting accusation has been made across media platforms, with Yaw Boateng, one of the sons of the late songstress known as Girls Girls, stating that a well-known personality in media, Auntie Naa, embezzled the money meant to be used in conducting the funeral of his mother.
Reacting in an exclusive interview with Gh Page TV, Yaw Boateng clarified that he was very disappointed about how money donated to attend the funeral was managed.
In his view, despite the promise given by Auntie Naa and her group at Oyerepa Afutuo to assist in the funeral arrangement, things did not work out as he thought.

He divulged that the children of the deceased Girls Girls had intended to inject GH 50, 000 at the funeral arrangements. But, upon a conversation with Auntie Naa and her crew, they were told to come with GHc30,000 instead.
This team promised the family that they would cover the other costs.
“We were going to donate GH¢50,000, but they told us it was an overexaggeration, and they requested we should donate GH¢30,000 instead.”
According to Yaw Boateng, they were saying that they will offset the rest of the cost.

What is even more disturbing about the issue is that some Canadians contacted promising to donate GHc30,000 towards the subsidization of the funeral.
“Yaw told me that that money was remitted via the team of Auntie Naa, but the family received only GHc 4,000 out of it.“
The Canadian donors have only deposited GH¢4,000 of what we are supposed to have been given GH¢30,000. The remainder, still remains unaccounted for, as he explained, with evident frustration.

This is revealed following yet another reverse shock at the funeral when the body guard of the deceased Auntie Naa allegedly slapped one of the relatives of the deceased thereby heated the atmosphere even more.
Up to date, Auntie Naa has never publicly come out to counter the allegations. Lots of admirers and fans of the Oyerepa Afutuo host are eager to hear her response to the whole story.
In the meantime, Ghanaians on social media have been vocal as some demanded transparency and accountability.
